About Cloz GB Cream

BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN belongs to the class of 'Topical steroid with Antimicrobial and Antifungal agents' primarily used to treat skin infections, such as eczema (inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough skin patches), dermatitis (skin rash), impetigo (red sores on the face), psoriasis (skin cells multiply rapidly to form bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales). BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN is also used to treat diaper rash, lichen simplex (thickened skin due to repeated itching/rubbing), bug bites, burns, boils, dermatoses (skin lesions), otitis externa (inflammation of the ear) and fungus or yeast infections. Skin infection occurs when a foreign microbe like fungus or bacteria invades and affects the skin's tissue.

Medicinal Benefits of Cloz GB Cream

BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN is used to treat skin infections, such as dermatitis, impetigo, eczema, psoriasis, diaper rash, lichen simplex, bug bites, burns, boils, otitis externa and dermatoses. It is composed of Clotrimazole, Gentamicin, and Beclometasone. Clotrimazole is an antifungal drug that stops fungi's growth by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. It treats various fungal infections, such as vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush, athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm. Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It kills bacteria by disrupting its ability to produce essential proteins for its growth. Beclometasone is a corticosteroid and blocks prostaglandin's production (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy. It effectively treats inflammation and itchiness caused by eczema and psoriasis. BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN inhibits the actions of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, redness and swelling.

Directions for Use

BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN is available in the form of cream and ointment. BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN is for external use only. Your doctor will decide the dosage of BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN based on the severity of your infection. Do not apply tight dressings and bandages on skin's affected areas after using BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN unless the doctor advised. If the medicine gets into your eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with cold water. Apply a thin layer of BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN with clean and dry hands on the affected areas. You can also apply BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab. Wash your hands before and after applying BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.

BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN is for external use only. Do not use BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN over large areas, raw skin, and blisters. Avoid contact of topical BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN with nose, mouth or eyes as it may irritate. In case BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Do not cover the affected areas with bandages or dressing after applying BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN if the doctor did not advise. Please do not use BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN in diabetes, liver diseases and renal failure without consulting your doctor. BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN is contraindicated in rosacea, acne, peri-oral dermatitis, tuberculosis of the skin and varicose ulcers, skin lesions caused by infections with viruses (herpes simplex, vaccinia or varicella), and fungi (candida, tinea). BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN contains Clotrimazole that may cause abnormal test results like liver function tests, hence inform your doctor beforehand. Using steroids like Beclometasone may increase the risk of low birth weight in the new-born baby. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use BECLOMETASONE+CLOTRIMAZOLE+GENTAMICIN with proper consultation and caution.
